Who it is for
Children learning to read English, in homes where nobody speaks it.
Built for young learners first, which is why the pictures and the voice are simple. The method underneath is how reading is taught at any age.
The sound it makes, not its name
Every sound recorded by a real person. A synthesiser would say ess, and ess does not blend into anything.
s
which one starts with this sound?
Sentences you can actually read
Every phrase is built only from sounds already taught. Nothing left to guess at.
I tap the tin.
a pin is in it.
the pan is tan.
Cards you can print
The whole deck in A4 or US Letter. Same letters, same words, same shapes as the screen.
What they learn
World 1 is the alphabet: the sounds English letters make, and how they join into words.
Later worlds carry on from there, once the letters are secure.
Why it does not start at A
These six make more real words than any other six in English.
sat, pin, tap, nap, tin, spin. A child reads a real word in the first session instead of waiting for the letter T to come round. The other twenty letters follow across three more stages.
What it will never do
Not as a paid tier or a setting to find. As the only way it works.
Menus in four languages
The letters, words and audio stay English. That is the subject being taught.
Teachers, schools and programmes
Install it on every device in the room. Copy the printed decks as many times as you need. Nothing to buy, sign, or ask us for.
If you need a deck that does not exist yet, a different paper size, or the interface in a language that is not here, write and ask.
Why it is free
The families this was built for are the ones least able to pay for it. Made in Dubai by Coding Phantom, and staying free.
