Eventfolio Support
Everything you need to get the most out of Eventfolio.
Eventfolio supports 17 event types, each with its own icon and color.
Every event shows a live countdown, color-coded by urgency.
Up to two reminders per event, 1–30 days before, delivered at 9:00 AM. Enable in Settings → Permissions.
Add a location via Apple Maps. Tap the map in the detail view to open directions in Apple Maps.
Available for Anniversary, Birthday, Meeting, Party, and Wedding events.

Attach a URL to Document, Homework, Meeting, Project, School, and Test events.
Search by name or notes. Filter by event type using the chip strip at the top.

Eventfolio's AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude. They are optional — the app works fully without them.
On Birthday, Party, Wedding, and Travel events, tap the gift ideas button to get suggestions tailored to the event and the attendees you have added. Add any suggestion straight to your gift list.
Tap Scan when adding an event and photograph a flyer, ticket, or invite. Claude reads the image and fills in the name, date, location, and other details for you to review before saving.
When you use these features, the relevant event details or the photo you capture are sent securely to Anthropic solely to generate your result. They are never used for ads or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Go to Settings → Profile (pencil icon) to update your name. Email/password accounts can also change their email — a verification link is sent and re-entering your password is required.
Signing out keeps your events and profile safely stored in the cloud. Logging back in restores everything.
Permanently removes your profile and all events from our servers and your device. This cannot be undone.
Tap "Forgot password?" on the login screen. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link.
Is Eventfolio free?
Yes — Eventfolio is free to use. Optional premium features may be introduced in future updates as part of a Pro subscription.
Can I use Eventfolio without an account?
An account is required so your events can sync securely across devices and be backed up.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Your data remains safely stored in your account. Reinstalling and logging back in restores everything.
Can I change an event's type after creating it?
Yes — open the event, tap Edit, and change the type. Note that attendees, gift lists, or links may no longer display if the new type doesn't support them.
I didn't receive my verification email.
Check your spam folder first. From the sign-up confirmation screen, tap Resend verification email.
Why isn't my event syncing to another device?
Make sure both devices are signed into the same account and have an internet connection. Pull down on the events list to force a refresh.
How do the AI gift suggestions work?
On supported event types, Eventfolio sends the event details and any attendees you have added to Anthropic's Claude, which returns a few tailored gift or activity ideas. You choose which, if any, to keep.
What happens to a photo I scan?
The photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude only to read the event details, then the result is returned to you to review. It is not used for advertising or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Are the AI features free?
Yes, the AI gift ideas and scanning are currently free. Some AI features may become part of a Pro subscription in a future update.
Eventfolio does not use ads, tracking, or sell your data. Information you provide — name, email, and the events you create — is used only to power app functionality: your account, cloud sync, and reminders. Optional AI features send the details or photo you provide to Anthropic's Claude solely to generate your result. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
